Pastry Chef/ Production Manager
We are on the lookout for a passionate and detail-oriented Kitchen Production Manager / Pastry Chef to lead our dessert and food production team.
We are looking to hire in JUNE 2026!

We are looking for someone who is reliable: you will be responsible to OPEN the business 5 days a week. Opening shift is 6:30am.
Job to start June 2026. Training is approx. 2 months, see below for info on that.
Duties
- Lead the preparation and production of baked goods, pastries, and desserts, ensuring consistency and quality in every item.
- Open the business Monday-Friday: this includes baking fresh pastries, quality control, and icing cupcakes .
- Complete a list of production for the week, while simultaneously guiding other staff to complete their lists.
- Oversee dessert decorating processes, ensuring visually appealing and professional finishes for all baked products.
- Manage packaging of finished items for retail or catering purposes while maintaining presentation standards.
- Supervise food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene regulations are strictly followed.
- Coordinate food production schedules to meet deadlines and optimize kitchen workflow.
- Support the team with food preparation tasks, including ingredient measurement, mixing, baking, and finishing touches.
- Maintain inventory levels by monitoring stock of ingredients and supplies; place orders as needed to prevent shortages.
Qualifications
Must be 21 yrs. of age or older.
- Proven experience in pastry arts, baking, and culinary roles within the food industry; prior kitchen management experience is a plus. Culinary degree preferred, or 5 years applicable experience.
- Strong dessert decorating skills with an eye for detail and presentation.
- Must have prior experience with the following: macronage, some lamination, quickbreads, mousse, cheesecake etc.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques. ServSafe certification is preferred.
- Excellent knife skills and proficiency in various cooking methods related to baking and pastry creation.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Experience with food production systems, packaging processes, and catering or restaurant operations preferred.
- Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and ensure smooth kitchen operations. - Must be able to be on your feet for 8-9 hour shifts.

Hours
- Ideal hours in this field! Opening shift 6:30am- 3:30 pm daily.
- Start and end your workday early!
- Weekends OFF, UNLESS needed for a major Holiday.
Extras
- *The first 2-3 months will be TRAINING months, (alongside our current pastry chef) until you get accustomed to how things run. This will give you the base you need to be successful!
- Salary will be discussed once this training occurs: we are looking to implement new ideas and changes also- the floor is yours!
- Goal is to have you fully trained and on your own by late August 2026.
- Salary position will range from 42-46 hours weekly.

Barista
Our BARISTA & FRONT DESK position is
for PART TIME or FULL TIME.
MUST BE AVAILABLE year round- we DO NOT HIRE seasonal help.
Looking for approximately:
7am-3pm or 11am-7pm for shifts. Must be available for either shift.
Must have some weekday and weekend availability.
WEEKENDS WIDE OPEN AVAILABILITY ( we are open Saturday 8-6/ Sundays 9-6).
Pay is based on experience.
WE WOULD PREFER AN EXPERIENCED BARISTA
Starting pay with NO experience is $15 per hr. (plus biweekly CASH tips).

Must have prior experience in a professional kitchen.
Baking experience is a PLUS, but not a must.
ServSafe Certification is a PLUS.
Must be able to follow standardized recipes.
Must be able to stand for 8 hours, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
Must be able to thoroughly clean/ mop kitchen at closing time, and maintain
a clean working station.
Production assistant is responsible for:
making buttercream, cake batters, baking cakes, baking cupcakes, prepping some basic
cookie and pastry recipes.
Pay is $17-$19 per hour/ depending on experience.
