Lead Cake Decorator
LEAD CAKE DECORATOR :Full Time position.
MUST be available Wednesday – Sunday 10am-close
(*close is 6pm. With clean up, you are typically out by 7pm.)
MUST HAVE PRIOR EXPERIENCE in a professional kitchen.
Looking for someone that has proficient skills and understands the following:
Checklist to ask yourself:
- Can you write neatly and quickly on a cake?
- Can you slice a 6 inch round cake / fill and crumb coat it? * with a time limit
- Can you ice a cake? Basic smooth icing/ rosettes/ textures?
- Do you have skills in piping on vintage cakes?
- Do you have any experience with fondant?
- Can you easy handle a piping bag, and ice cupcakes?
- Are you able to pipe buttercream flowers in a modern style?
- Are you open to learning new methods, and wanting to improve your skills?
- Do you have an eye for color and cake design?
- Do you have any experience with royal icing and cookie decorating?
- Are you able to multitask and work on a strict timeline?
- How do you handle stress during a busy rush?
- IF YOU HAVE THESE SKILLS, WE CAN TEACH AND GUIDE TO YOU BE THE BEST YOU CAN BE!
MUST BE 21 yrs. or older. Must have reliable transportation.

OTHER Duties include:
Baking prep/ making batters and buttercreams/ following basic recipes.
Cleaning/ dishes/ laundry. *everyone does this!
Must be able to stand during shift/ Must be able to lift 50 lbs. on occasion / Serv Safe certification is preferred if you have it.
Pay BASED ON EXPERIENCE!
Cake decorator position is $22-$25 an hour based on experience.
We are not looking to hire an inexperienced decorator at this time- MUST have 2 or more years experience in a professional kitchen.
Kitchen Assistant
Kitchen Assistant :Full Time position. (4-5 days)
MUST have availability Wednesday – Sunday 10am-close.

Looking for someone that has ability to do the following:
Checklist to ask yourself:
Are you able to efficiently CLEAN a kitchen?
Are you able to stand for an 8 hour shift?
Are you able to occasionally lift 50 lbs?
Are you able to multitask and work on a strict timeline?
How do you handle stress during a busy rush?
Some duties will include: laundry/ dishes/ cleaning/ prepping basic batters and buttercreams (using a large mixer), baking, some cupcake decorating/ rolling cake pops.
MUST BE 18 yrs. or older. Must have reliable transportation.
Serv Safe certification is preferred if you have it.
Pay BASED ON EXPERIENCE!
Kitchen Assistant position is $16-18 an hour based on experience.
